Building What’s Next, Live: Flexnode at ARPA-E
March 17th: Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center
March 17th: Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center
March 17th was more than a Monday — it was a moment. At the ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit in National Harbor, Maryland, Flexnode didn’t just show up — we showed the future in action.
Set inside the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, surrounded by some of the most brilliant minds in energy innovation, Flexnode rolled in with torque guns, forklifts, and a 40,000 lb statement: the future of digital infrastructure is modular, precision-built, and ready now.
From Boyce to the Big Stage
Weeks of planning came to life as a full section of our Gen 1 modular Flexnode unit — shipped directly from our Boyce facility — was built on-site in real time. No booth gimmicks, no renderings on a loop. Just steel, panels, circuits, and relentless purpose. We were by far the biggest display on the floor, and definitely the loudest.
Attendees paused. They stared. They walked by… and then circled back. Because when you hear hammering and drilling echoing through an innovation summit, you pay attention. And what they saw wasn’t a construction site — it was a promise.

Scramble, Sprint, Showcase
There’s nothing quite like a build under the wire. As the panels locked in and our team made a final sprint across the venue in search of a misplaced monitor (found just in time), we unveiled our Global Backbone model — a stunner. The kind of visual that makes people stop mid-conversation.
Minutes before the summit’s official kickoff, we finished. Breathless. Wired. Ready.
And then it happened.
Without warning, the MC opened the show by introducing Flexnode — and Tarif, with no heads-up, stepped forward and absolutely delivered. Cool under pressure, crystal clear in message, he set the tone for what this week was going to be about: disruption, boldness, and building real things that solve real problems.

Why It Mattered
This wasn’t just an event. It was validation — that how we build, what we build, and why we build it is resonating. From industry leaders to federal agency reps, people saw something different in Flexnode:
Purpose-Built for Performance — A data center that goes up in hours, not months, and runs like a precision machine.
Relentlessly Modular, Radically Scalable — A system that adapts as fast as your needs change.
Built for the AI-Native World — Infrastructure that understands compute density, thermal complexity, and the next generation of workloads.
Human at the Core — Because at the end of the day, this was a team effort — driven by grit, laughter, last-minute dashes, and shared pride.
This Is Infrastructure in Motion
We don’t wait for the future. We build it. We deploy it. And when the moment calls for it — we do it live.
To everyone who stopped by, asked questions, gave feedback, or simply stood in awe — thank you. You witnessed what we already know: Flexnode is here to reimagine what infrastructure can be.
And we’re just getting started.
