Flexnode is working with a confidential private real estate investment trust that owns, manages, acquires and develops class A office properties in multiple states. As tenant adoption of A.I. and machine learning applications increased, the client proactively engaged Flexnode to design, build and operate on premise data centers that could serve tenants as a Class A amenity while delivering a new, expandable revenue stream for its properties. The client’s first Flexnode deployments will include three FlexRacks in Boston, Massachusetts and a FlexHub at a signature office property in Washington, DC. Both deployments will provide sufficient capacity to serve building tenants plus nearby EDGE customers in the community.
